Fatigued Owl used a custom built lighting rig between 1972 and 1974 to promote Dinethesius on their two tours “The Fracture of Marimbow Tour” and “The Collapsing Mind Tour”.
Known as “The Excellcium Mast” it was designed by roadie and lighting tech “THE KEY” .
This gave the audience a transcopic experience that until then had never been seen by the gig goer. A Powerful component of the already charging progness performed by the band now enhanced with the visual arsenal that was deployed when Fatigued Owl performed live.

We have recently been given the blue prints of “The Mast” by our friends at DAS PROG.
A fascinating incite into the development of the concept.

“Sandra appears from here” refers to the bands dancer Fabreeze. (Real name Sandra Jones-Davies)
“Lads change here” refers to the area where the band members changed into their native american indian costumes for the performance piece “Chasing Horn”
“Really Big Dream Catchers”. We understand these were really big.

This diagram also confirms the presence of the bands “Fudcott Strobe”.
